Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal

Up on arrival at Kathmandu airport meet our tour official representative, complete the custom and immigration formalities and drive to hotel and evening free time.

Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city

Full day visit to the historical Kathmandu Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa which will take you to visit Nepal’s most popular attractions.

Day 03: Kathmandu UNESCO Heritage tour - Nagarkot

After breakfast drive to Moneky temple the another name of Swayambhunath stupa and then drive to historical Durbar Square area including many other famous monuments of around- Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, Kumbheswor Temple and Bhaktapur city’s old place popular Nyatapola Pagoda, temples, unique peacock window and medieval town. After the day trip drive to Nagarkot (20 KM east from Bhaktapur).

Day 04: Nagarkot to Kathmandu

Early morning wake up for sunrise view from Nagarkot. You can enjoy panoramic Himalayan view including Mt. Everest from Nagarkot on a clear weather day. Then enjoy your breakfast and after breakfast drive or hike (you can hike downhill to Changu Narayan temple for 4 to 5 hours) to Changu Narayan Temple and drive back to Kathmandu. Changunarayan temple is one of the oldest temple in Nepal.

Day 05: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3656 m) Gonggar Airport

Up on arrival at Gonggar Airport meet our Tibet tour official representative, complete the custom and immigration formalities and drive to Lhasa city (3656m). It takes around 45 minutes to reach the main city center. Checking in your hotel, be refresh, rest for acclimatization to get fit with Lhasa’s high altitude.

Day 06: Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa

Early morning after breakfast brief on the day’s program by your guide and proceed tour to  Norbulingka, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Square. Drive to visit the Norbulingka palace which is summer retreat of the Dalai Lama. The palace building construction completed in 1956 and it is elaborately decorated with Tibetan wood carvings and paintings. Sera Monastery was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary in Tibet. You can see the rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, the monastery also called “the court of wild rose”. You will observe famous debate session of the monks in Sera Monastery. Then head to the Jokhang Temple and explore rich Tibetan cultural heritage of this site as well visit city center of Barkhor market and after visiting of the day back to the hotel.

Day 07: Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa

After breakfast meet your guide transfer to visit Potala Palace. This is the main attraction of Tibet forever and it is an impressive structure of Tibetan architecture. The Potala Palace has various types of Tibetan arts and crafts collection which are some many centuries of old. After visiting this outstanding Dalai Lama’s palace transfer to visit popular Drepung Monastery. Drepung Monastery, the ever largest monastery with more than 10 thousand monks, where you can observe nuns and monks are chanting and performing religious discourses together and back to hotel.

Day 08: Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Gonggar airport and fly to Kathmandu to join onward program. Up on arrival meet Himalayan Mentor’s office representative at airport and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free for relax as you are back from the high altitude trip. It’s good to have a relaxing time in lower elevation.

Day 09: Fly from Kathmandu to Paro airport of Bhutan

After breakfast at Kathamndu hotel, drie to the airpot and fly to Paro, Bhutan, Upon arrival at Paro airport, meet our official tour operation representative and drive to Thimphu (65km-2 hrs) capital city of Bhutan, transfer to hotel, be refresh, brief about tour program. If the time permit you will visit Downtown market in Thimphu.

Day 10: Thimphu sightseeing - Punakha

After breakfast meet the tour guide at hotel and join full day guided sightseeing tour. Morning first visit the Zeleukha Nunnery, National Library and Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk in the heart of Thimphu town and The Tashichhodzong, 'The fortress of the auspicious Religion. Afternoon lunch break and drive to Punakha (77 KM) and overnight in Punakha. On the way you will stop at the Dochu La pass (3100m.). The Dochu La is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas you will see. The view from the pass is the one of the best view you will enjoy your trip to Bhutan.

Day 11: Punakha Sightseeing - Paro

In the morning time sightseeing around the beautiful Punkaha city (former capital city of Bhutan). Punakha Dzong, Wangdi Dzong & Simtokha Dzong are the major attraction of Punakha valley. After lunch you will drive to Paro. In Paro, visit National Museum & Paro Dzong. Paro Dzong also known as Rinpung Dzong which is built in 1644. It is the symbol of Bhutanese architecture.

Day 12: Paro to Tiger Nest (Taktsang Lhakang) excursion tour.

After breakfast meet the guide drive to Sartsham Chorten and then 3 to 4 hours hiking (2 hour of horse riding - optional) take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. You will take a short break there. After refreshment, commence a short hike to the viewpoint to witness a fascinating eye-level view of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger Nest Monastery). Taktsang Lhakhang is a Buddhist temple complex on an isolated location, clinging to a 3,120 meters cliff on the side of the upper Paro Valley. This is the major landmark of your Bhutan visit. After lunch a slow downhill trek to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to hotel.

Day 13: Fly from Paro to Kathmandu
