The Langtang trekking route disrupted by the landslide, which was triggered by the April 25 earthquake, has reopened.
Many parts of this classic trekking route were also damaged in the devastating incident.
According to Temba Lama, Chairperson of the Langtang Management and Reconstruction Committee, the routes stretching from Syafrubeshi to Khamjim, and Sherpa Gaun Riboche to Chyangjen have been repaired and is ready for the trekkers to embark their journey.
The resumption of the disrupted road has also eased off the transportation of the daily consumables in the Langtang Valley, added Chairperson Lama.
The Committee also informed that preparation to build temporary hotels and motels in different places across the trekking route is underway.
