Langtang Gosainkunda Group trek

Langtang Gosainkunda group joining trek is an outstanding trekking trail with stunning Himalayan views and Tibetan flavor cultural heritage.  This is a small group joining & fixed departure trekking holiday for 2 weeks around the beautiful landscape of Langtang village and Kyanjin Gompa and pristine Lake Gosainkunda.  The trails will begin from Syabrubesi and will ended at Dhunche, district headquarter of Rasuwa.  You will cross many Tibetan villages along trail as well as for pine, rhododendron and oak tree forest as well.  As long as you will hike to upper elevation the view of Himalayas will be very close. From Kyanjin Gompa and Tsergo Ri you will enjoy very fascinating Himalayan peaks. Langtang National Park also habitat of various wild animals and birds including rare Red Panda. 

As we offer 14 days small group hiking for Gosainkunda Lake, the group size will be maximum 10 persons. Our experienced guides will lead the group and helpful porters will carry your luggage.

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu (1,330m) transfer to hotel
Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1610m, 8-9 hrs) (BLD)
Day 03: Trek Syabru to Lama Hotel (2480m, 5-6 hrs) (BLD)
Day 04: Trek Lama Hotel (2480m) to Langtang Village (3900m, 5-6 hrs) (BLD)
Day 05: Trek Langtang Village (3541m) to Kyangjin Gompa (3900m, 3 hrs) (BLD)
Day 06: Exploration day – climb up Tsergo Ri (5050m ) (BLD)
Day 07: Trek Kyanjin Gompa (3900m) to Lama Hotel (2480m, 5-6hrs) (BLD)
Day 08: Trek Lama Hotel (2480m) to Thulo Syabru (2200m, 5-6 hours) (BLD)
Day 09: Trek Thulo Syabru (2200m) to Sing Gompa (m, 5-6 hrs) (BLD)
Day 10: Trek Sing Gompa (3250m) to Gosainkunda (4380m, 5-6 hrs) (BLD)

The package includes:

  • Airport transfers - pick up and drop upon arrival and departure 
  • Entry permit to Langtang National Park and TIMS fee
  • Supporting staffs (trekking guide and porter), as well as their necessary insurance, and accommodation meals allowance and salary (1 guide for whole group & 1 porter for 2 trekkers)
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner -3 meals per day and overnight accommodation in tea house lodge along the trail.
  • Kathmandu - Dhunche - Kathmandu by Jeep/ bus (as per group size)
  • 3 Nights accommodation in Kathmandu in BB basis before and after the trek (Good tourist hotel - twin sharing basis).

The package does not include:

  •  International flight ticket and airport tax
  • Lunch and dinner during the Kathmandu stay
  • Travel / medical insurance and emergency evacuation cost
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks (including cold drinks and mineral/hot water/shower, tea-coffee, chocolate hot drinks), tips for the guide, porter & other staffs etc. 
  • Additional costs- extra days stay, incase of flight cancellation due to the natural calamities, bad weather forecast and other unforeseen circumstances, rescue flight, extra night hotel accommdoation if needed.
