Chomolhari trekking itinerary
Day 01: Fly to Paro airport, up on arrival there meet our official tour operation representative, transfer to hotel, be refresh, brief about tour program and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: In Paro- full day guided sightseeing morning visit Drukgyel Dzong -Kyichu Lhakang the national museum of Bhutan. After visiting there have lunch and excursion trip to Taktsang Lhakang which allow you to explore various wonders of last Shangri La and overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Shana (2860m.) and then trek to Thongo Zampa (3250m.) - around 11 KM, 4 hours, overnight at tented camp.
Day 04: Trek to Soi Thangthanghka (3750m) - around 11 KM, 4 -5 hours,overnight at tented camp.
Day 05: Trek to Jangothang (4050m) - around 12 KM, 5 - 6 hours,overnight at tented camp.
Day 06: Rest day, overnight at tented camp.
Day 07: Trek to Lingshi (4100m), around 19 KM, 6- 7 hours, overnight at tented camp.
Day 08: Trek to Shodu (4100m), around 22 KM, 8 -9 hours, overnight at tented camp.
Day 09: Trek to Barshong (3620m), around 22 KM, 7 -8 hours, overnight at tented camp.
Day 10: Trek to Domshisa around 1 hour, end the trek and drive to Thimpu (35 KM, 2 to 3 hours drive), overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Full day guided sightseeing tour in capital city, visit most popular sites of around, afternoon drive to Paro and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: After breakfast get ready your luggage packed and drive to airport to catch the flight for departure from Paro airport.
