The standard route for Island Peak climbing follows the south-east flank and south-west ridge. The general base camp is set at 5100m, between Imja Tse and the Imja Glacier moraine. Island peak climbing itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport
Up on arrival meet our office representative at airport and transfer to hotel/ after refreshing complete the official formalities/ briefing about the preparation and rest of the day free for your own leisure/overnight at hotel in BB Basis.
 
Day 02: Permit preparation day - You will get briefing about the peak this day /overnight at hotel in BB Basis.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2800m), start trek to Phakding (2610m)/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 04: Trek Phakding (2610m) to Namche Bazaar (3500m)/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3500m)/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar (3500m) to Tengboche (3850m)/overnight at teahouse  (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 07: Trek Tengboche (3850m) to Dingboche (4350m)/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 08: Trek Dingboche (4350m) to Lobuche (4950m)/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 09: Trek Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5140m)/Visit EBC/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day10: Visit Kalapatthar (5545m)/Mt Everest view/trek to Dingbuche Village (4350m)/overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 11: Trek to Chhukung (4800m)/ overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 12: Trek to Island Peak base camp/ meet all the climbing staff members and check it all the climbing gear and climbing instruction and overnight at tented camp. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 13 & 14: Trek to Island Peak high camp and rest at tented camp/ about 2:00 am starts summit of the  Island Peak (6169m) and after summit back to base camp  and overnight at tented camp (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) here one day as spare day for climbing (if needed).

Day 15: Trek back to Tengboche (3850m.) and overnight at teahouse lodge (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 16: Trek back to Monjo (2760m) and overnight at teahouse lodge (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day17: Trek back to Lukla/ and overnight at teahouse (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)

Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu/ drop to hotel, rest or free for personal activities and overnight at hotel in BB Basis. (Breakfast only served at teahouse lodge restaurant, Lunch & Dinner self)

Day 19: Free for personal activities-shopping or visiting/celebration and receiving successfully climbed the Island Peak and evening fare well dinner with culture show at Nepalese Traditional Kitchen you will be enjoyed very authentic way of Nepalese hospitalities and overnight at hotel in BB Basis.

Day 20: After breakfast transfer to airport for final departure or proceed for onward program. We also organize many different sorts of activities- whitewater rafting, wildlife safari tour, Tibet, Bhutan & India tour and more as you wish to have for onward destination.
