The Raging River (Grade 4 - 5) “Marshyangdi”
The River Marshyangdi is one of the toughest challenging whitewater trip of Nepal. This river is only able to run with those who have previous experience of grade 4 river runs, having good condition of physical fitness and good swimmer. The river originated from Tilicho Lake of main source and from Gangapurna Glacier near Mannang village in undoubtedly great challenging among paddlers of world. Now unfortunately the world class Marshyangdi River got hydro electricity dam some of the most beautiful rapids are gone. Rafting on this river made easy road link of way to Manang and can be organize trip both from Kathmandu and Pokhara. This is the rafting trip for those who are physically fit & already done few river rafting trips. Wild rapids, beautiful views can make your 4 days whitewater trip an exotic holiday for a long time.
Day 01: Early morning drive to put in point camp about 7-8 hrs
Day 02: Wake up be refresh and drink tea, coffee & chocolate
Day 03: Wake up be refresh and drink tea, coffee & chocolate
Day 04: Wake up be refresh and drink tea, coffee & chocolate
One day before at 5:00 PM gathered at Himalayan Mentor office for pre-departure meeting as it is also major concern to introduce with our team-Trip Leader, Guides, trip staffs and other guests, complete official formalities, discuss about the trip, timetable and other important logistics to make your adventure trip successful.
Best quality self-bailing raft, whitewater safety helmet, modern plastic paddle, neoprene-wetsuit, PFD-lifejacket, dry top splash Jacket, waterproof Container or Barrel for camera and valuable items, dry bag for other stuffs, first-aid kit box, tent or mass fly sheet, sleeping mat and other necessary camping gear cooking utensils, hygienically prepared foods and drinks.
River wear: shorts or half pant, T-shirts (long sleeve for sun protection), swim wear, sun cap, sun glass, suntan cream, personal water bottle, a pair of river sandal etc
Camp site wear: personal sleeping bag, lightweight shirts, T-shirts, trouser/pant, under garments, socks, a towel, light shoe, fleece type jacket, flash light, personal toiletries, camera, reading and writing materials, medication recommended by your private doctor etc. Other stuffs you can store at your hotel or at our office store room which are not necessary to bring for the rafting.

Our team members have updated training courses - AR/CPR, Wildness First-Aid and Whitewater Rescue Technician conducted by Rescue 3 International. And in every rafting trip we also provide expert rescue kayaker for extra safety to make your trip with us more comfort and enjoyable.
