Nepal Tibet Everest base camp trip itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal (1400m.)
Up on arrival at Kathmandu airport meet our tour official representative, complete the custom and immigration formalities and drive to hotel and after refreshment, our tour officer will describe you about the trip.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing
Sightseeing to Historical Kathmandu Durbar Square area, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pasupatinath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 03: Kathmandu sightseeing – Nagarkot (2175m.)
Sightseeing to Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. After the full day tour drive to Nagarkot, the fantastic hill station which is famous for sunrise & sunset view. Evening you will enjoy sunset view.

Day 04: Nagarkot - Changunarayan Temple and Kathmandu
Early in the morning sunrise view from hotel. After breakfast drive to Changunarayan temple which is one of the oldest temple in Nepal. if you are interested for hiking, you may hiking for 4 to 5 hours to reach the temple. After the temple visit, drive back to hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 05: Kathmandu to Lhasa by Flight
In Gonggar airport your tour guide will welcome you and then drive to Lhasa city (3,650 m). Evening free time to rest for acclimatization.

Day 06: Lhasa sightseeing
Full day sightseeing tour around Lhasa. Visit famous Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Museum.

Day 07: Lhasa sightseeing
Full day sightseeing tour around Lhasa. Visit famous Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar.

Day 08: Lhasa to Gyantse (3,950m) - 325km for 5-6hours
Early morning drive from Lhasa to Gyantse. You will cross Karo La Pass and very beautiful Yamdrok Tso Lake. This will be very beautiful overland tour to have.

Day 09: Gyantse to Shigatse - (3,900m)– 95km for 2-3hours
Today you will visit Gyantse Dzong and Kumbum at Gyantse and drive to Shigatse. In Sighatse visit the oldest Tashilhunpo Monastery.

Day 10: Shigatse to Rongbuk (5,000m) - 355km for 8-9 hours
Morning drive to Rongbuk and evening you will enjoy the sunset view over the Mt. Everest.

Day 11: Rongbuk to Kerung (2,300m)- 257km for 5-6hours
Everest morning visit Everest base (5200 m) and enjoy the sunrise view. After breakfast drive to Kerung.

Day 12: Kerung to Kathmandu (1,350m).- 7- 8 hours drive
Around an hour drive to border and then your Tibetan guide say good bye. He/she helps you for immigration stuffs. In Nepal side our representative will welcome you and drive to Kathmandu by private jeep.

Day 13: Final departure
Transfer to airport for your final departure
