The 11 days trekking holiday in the lap of the Mt. Everest is an outstanding trip to do in your lifetime. There are few hill points from where you will be fascinating with the best Himalayan ranges of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and many other mountains in Khumbu region. Our trek starts from an exotic Everest flight to Lukla (2800 m.) and same day we will go on a hike to Phakding. 1 week Everest hiking will continue until we get back to Lukla. On the very first day of our trek, we will stay in Phakding (2610m) and next day our hiking will be for Namche Bazaar (3500m), where you will stay for 2 nights to acclimatize with high altitude. You can see the best views of Everest region Himalayas in the short period of time, so trekkers called for this trail "Everest View trekking" as well. Himalayan Mentor always thinks about the guest satisfaction, safety and health issue (Acute Mountain Sickness) so we will acclimatize one day in Namche Bazaar and explore around. After spending an extra day in Namche, we will hike up to Tengboche (3850m) which is the best place in Everest region to have a close view of Everest Himalayan range. Tengboche (some people called “Tyangboche” also) is known as religious place among the Sherpa community in Khumbu area (Solukhumbu district). Here we will explore one of the biggest Buddhist Monasteries of this trail – Tengboche Monastery. Our trip will not finish here as we need to visit another most popular and largest Sherpa village of the area; Khumjung (3,790 m.). Khumjung is popular for Sir Edmund Hillary in 1961, when he established a school for Sherpa community “Hillary School”. For another couple of days, we will continue our hike down to Phakding and Luka to finish the trek. The short Everest hiking trip will not finish until you get to Kathmandu, and in the evening we will offer you “Farewell dinner” in Nepalese cultural restaurant.
Round trip – Namche Bazaar -Tengboche - Everest View Point
Up on arrival meet our office representative at airport and transfer to hotel/ after refreshing complete the official formalities/ briefing about the preparation and rest of the day free for your own leisure/overnight at hotel in BB Basis.
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city- Historical Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swyambhunath Stupa which will take you to visit Nepal’s most popular attractions and lunch break will be during the tour at best restaurants available/overnight at hotel in BB Basis.
Day 03: Early in the morning drive to airport or Ramechhap and fly to Lukla (2800m). Up on arrival at Lukla have a breakfast and commence the trekking up to Phakding (2610m) and after 3 hour easy walking overnight at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3500m) -About 4-5 hour hiking via Dudh Koshi river bank and ascending of Namche Hill you will be reached at remarkable town of Sherpa land Namche Bazaar which is the largest and most prosperous settlement in the Khumbu valley. It is also a historical trading center of the region- foods, salt, clothes and other stuffs are shopped by locals. Late afternoon visit the town and overnight at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar- Before processing ahead extra day for rest is required to adjust with thin air of high land. Explore around visit early morning to the Everest view point Syangboche (3,833m) & after back from there rest at hotel and afternoon visit Sherpa museum. There you can see the traditional custom of Sherpa people and great photographs of Everest summiteers and overnight at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 06: Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m) - From Namche Bazaar the trail climbs up and down to Sanasa and the trail descends gradually to Teshinga and then it drops steeply to Phunki Thanga there you will be crossing Dudh Koshi river. After climbing two hour from Phunki Thanga you will reach at Tengboche. Tengboche is a religious place for the Sherpa people of the entire Solukhumbu area. Here you will visit the Tengboche Monastery which is one of the biggest one of the region. During the fullmoon in November the monastery celebrates famous Mani Rimdu festival. For your overnight stay there at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 07: Trek to Khumjung Sherpa Village (3790m), This is the largest settlement village in the Sherpa land where you will have chance to see real Sherpas’ life style and their cultural activities, The village has also a high school which is funded by Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation and also an old monastery where they have preserved famous Yeti skull. Exploring around and enjoy incredible views of peaks. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 08: Trek back to Phakding (2610m), the trail again drops to Namche Bazar and have a short tea/coffee stop and continue descending via same route and on the way stop for the lunch break an hour at Jorsale Village. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 09: After breakfast from Phakding Village trek back to Lukla (2800m) via same route again, be refreshed, have a lunch and rest at tea house lodge or afternoon free for personal activities and overnight stay there at teahouse lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at teahouse lodge restaurant)
Day 10: Early in the morning, transfer to airport and fly back from Lukla to Ramechhap or Kathmandu, end the trip and transfer to hotel, rest and afternoon free for personal activities. Evening fare well dinner with culture show at Nepalese Traditional Kitchen you will be enjoyed very authentic way of Nepalese hospitalities and overnight at hotel in BB Basis.
Day 11: After breakfast transfer to airport for final departure or proceed for onward program. We also organize many different sorts of activities- whitewater rafting, wildlife safari tour, Tibet, Bhutan & India tour and more as you wish to have for onward destination.
What is the best time for Everest Panorama trek?
March to May during spring and September to November during autumn are the best times for the Everest Panorama trek. As Everest Panorama view trek takes you below 4000 meters elevation, you can trek for whole year.
