During your cooking class you will have lots of fun and amazing hands-on cooking experience that will immerse you in Nepali culture and traditions. Himalayan Mentor’s aim is to deliver to you the ultimate Nepali culinary adventure.

This is really a first-hand experience in the adventure of discovering new style and dish in your food menu. Our chefs will take you to the shops to buy ingredients which needed for your class and let you learn how to cook the specific Nepali cuisine. The most popular Nepali dishes are Mo:Mo (Nepali style dumpling), Dal Bhat (Rice, curry, lentil soup, pickle etc.), Aalu Paratha (Potato Paratha) and Sel Roti (sweet bread made by rice flour) . The experienced chefs will take the theory and practical session together and the course will be 3 to 4 hours each day. Some foreign travelers who have limited time take a single session but those who want to sharp themselves in the venture Nepali culinary will take many sessions until they satisfied themselves.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport Nepal. Up on arrival meet our office representative at airport and transfer to hotel/ after refreshing complete the official formalities/ briefing about the preparation and rest of the day free for your own leisure/overnight at hotel in BB Basis.

Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing around Kathmandu city- Historical Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Swyambhunath Stupa which will take you to visit Nepal’s most popular attractions and lunch break will be during the tour at best restaurants available/overnight at hotel in BB Basis.

Day 03: Drive to Gorkha approx. 9-10 hrs drive/ Overnight at Tea house lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at local tea house)

Day 04: Trek Gorkha to Gyampesal/ Overnight at Tea house lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at local tea house)

Day 17: Trek Lububesi to Arughat (525m)/ Overnight at Tea house lodge. (All meals Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner will be served at local tea house)

Day 18: Drive Arughat to Kathmandu approx. 9-10 hrs drive/ transfer to hotel. (Breakfast will be served at camp site and on the way of Journey Lunch at highway restaurant & Dinner self in Kathmandu and room BB Basis)

Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu, visit Thamel market/ shopping/sightseeing/ typical Nepali dinner party with culture show/overnight at hotel. (Hotel in Kathmandu BB Basis)

Day 20: Transfer to airport for International departure or if you wish to have onward programs- wildlife safari tour, whitewater rafting/ kayaking, paragliding, sightseeing or visiting main tourist attraction of around please let us know we are happy to organize as you wish.
