Along the trek trail mostly passes through many villages of different landscape with beautiful pine, oak and rhododendron forests of lower elevation level to less strenuous relatively. One of most convenient trek around Helambu region predominantly in higher elevation villages are inhabited by Sherpa and Tamang communities so local traditional culture reflects similar of other regions as Buddhism society. It is an ideal trip for those who have a short time and like to combine both cultural scenes of mountain. The trailhead to Sundarijal is only an hour drive from your hotel just north east of Kathmandu city and the trek ending point is Melamchipul.

Helambu short trekking itinerary
Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1300m- 1hr)/ trek to Chisapani (2194m, 4hrs ) and overnight at teahouse
Day 02: Trek Chisapani (2194m) to Kutumsang (2446m, 5-6 hrs)/overnight at teahouse
Day 03: Trek Kutumsang (2446m) to Thadepati (3597m, 4-5 hrs)/overnight at teahouse
Day 04: Trek Thadepati (3597m) to Tarkeghyang (2560m, 5-6 hrs)/overnight at teahouse
Day 05: Trek Tarkeghayang (2560m) to Sermathang (2621m, 4-5 hrs)/overnight at teahouse
Day 06: Trek Sermanthang (2621m) to Melamchipul (846m, 5-6 hrs)/overnight at teahouse
Day 07: Drive back Melamchipul (846m) to Kathmandu (5 hrs)/end the trek/transfer to hotel

Cost Includes
- Full board basis on the way of trekking- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner -3 meals per day and overnight accommodation at tea house lodge.

- Necessary trekking permit, national park, conservation and TIMS fee.
- Supporting staffs (trekking guide and porter), as well as their necessary insurance, and accommodation meals allowance and salary

Cost Excludes
- Hotel food or any other services in Kathmandu before or after the trip
- Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, alcoholic beverages, bottled drinks (including cold drinks and mineral/hot water), tips etc.
- Travel insurance and emergency evacuation cost.
- Additional costs- extra days stay, incase of flight cancellation due to the natural calamities, bad weather forecast and other unforeseen circumstances
