This trekking trail is getting thereafter one of the most visited trails as a different challenging high plain desert. Mustang is an  old Buddhist kingdom and the main central destination of the trek is called “Lo Manthang” which is also known as capital of “Forbidden Kingdom”. The clay walled ancient city, Lo Manthang and other surrounding settlement around their traditional societies remained untouched by modernization for many centuries.

Mustang trekking tour belongs to the nomad land Mustang’s upper valley was attached to Tibet untill14th century therefore people’s lifestyle and their culture and religion are similar with Tibetan.

Mustang is the mysterious land visit which offers a unique experience and exploration – miraculous geological features of landscape, fascinating medieval age old monasteries, an encounter with typical culture and glimpse of breathe taking snow capped peaks. Besides warm welcome of local people, antique palace visit and welcome visit to King are ever unforgettable moment of this trek.

Upper Mustang trekking became popular after visit of Michel Peissel. The early visitor of Mustang- Lo Manthang was Michel Peissel a well renown writer of popular book “Tiger for Breakfast” is also known as the first westerner to witness the Tiji festival in 1964. He had explained in his book “Mustang” A lost Tibetan Kingdom "We found ourselves in the midst of a festival in which over a thousand men, women and children were taking part. Before us spread a sea of weather-beaten brown faces that contrasted with those of the beaming, dirty little children who clung like grapes upon the rooftops of the houses." He also furthered describes as  "The scenes I witnessed were so extraordinary and so unexpected that I dared not believe my eyes and even today I have some trouble in believing in the reality of what I saw that day." From the above lines we came to know that this wonderland must be visited once in lifetime…….and for different holiday experience!!!!
