Then your overland journey will begin for Punakha, it was the capital city of Bhutan before it’s moved to Thimphu on 1955. This is the beautiful place to visit as it’s located along the river valleys of two main rivers of Bhutan, the Pho Chu and Mo Chu. After culture and nature trip to Punakha, you will be back to Paro. The major activities in this trip is Taktsang Lhakhang excursion tour which also known as “Tiger Nest”. This is the Buddhist sacred site located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley. As per the history it is built in 1692, people believed that where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours in the 8th century.

Mystic Bhutan tour itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Paro, Bhutan
Upon arrival there meet our official tour operation representative and drive to Thimphu (65km-2 hrs) capital city of Bhutan, transfer to hotel, be refresh, brief about tour program and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Thimpu - Punakha
After breakfast meet the tour guide at hotel and join full day guided sightseeing tour. Morning first visit the Zeleukha Nunnery, National Library and Memorial Chorten of the Late King Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu town and The Tashichhodzong, 'The fortress of the auspicious Religion. Afternoon lunch break and drive to Punakha (77 KM) and overnight Punakha.
Day 03: Punakha Sightseeing - Paro
In the morning time visit Punakha Dzong, Wangdi Dzong & Simtokha Dzong. Paro Dzong also known as Rinpung Dzong which is built in 1644. It is the symbol of Bhutanese architecture. Then drive to Paro and visit National Museum & Paro Dzong and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Paro to Taktsang Lhakhang excursion tour.
After breakfast meet the guide drive to Sartsham Chorten and then 2 hour of horse riding uphill will take you to the Taktsang cafeteria. After refreshment, commence a short trek to the viewpoint to witness a fascinating eye-level view of the famous Taktsang Lhakhang also known as the tiger's nest. PM: After lunch a slow downhill trek to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to hotel and overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Final Departure
After breakfast get ready your luggage packed and drive to airport to catch the flight for departure from Paro airport.
