3 days Everest trek

3 days Everest trek is an option to explore the Mount Everest area on your limited time of visit. This is only 3 days trek to Namche Bazaar from Kathmandu. With a scenic flight of around 30 minutes you will be land in the tiny airstrip of Lukla and trek to Manjo. Another day you will trek to Namche Bazaar to enjoy the panoramic Mt. Everest view. From Namche you will hike down to Lukla to end the trek. You have to walk around 17 hours walk within 3 days. This is one of the very shortest Everest trek from Kathmandu to Kathmandu.

3 days Everest trek itinerary

Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2800 meters) and Trek to Phakding (2600 meters) or Monjo (2,835 meters)- 3 or 4 hours trek

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3500 meters) - 5 or 6 hours

Day 03: Trek back to Lukla (2800 meters) - 7 to 8 hours

Day 04: Fly back to Kathmandu early in the morning and trip concluded.

If you have only 2 days from Kathmandu to Kathmandu and also want to experience the trekking by making to the Namche Bazaar on foot, you can do one way walking and one way helicopter back. The itinerary will be as below;

Day 01: Fly to Lukla (2800 meters) and Trek to Phakding (2600 meters) or Monjo (2,835 meters)- 3 or 4 hours trek

Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3500 meters) - 5 or 6 hours and back to Lukla or Kathmandu by helicopter.

The package includes:

  • Entry permit to Sagarmatha National Park
  • Supporting staffs (trekking guide and porter), as well as their necessary insurance, and accommodation meals allowance and salary
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner -3 meals per day and overnight accommodation in tea house lodge along the trail.
  • Domestic airfare and airport tax round trip (Kathmandu - Lukla – Kathmandu for the trekking)

The package does not includes:

  • International flight ticket and airport tax
  • Expenses in Kathmandu
  • Travel / medical insurance and emergency evacuation cost
