The River Marshyangdi is one of the toughest challenging whitewater trip of Nepal. This river is only able to run with those who have previous experience of grade 4 river runs, having good condition of physical fitness and good swimmer. The river originated from Tilicho Lake of main source and from Gangapurna Glacier near Mannang village in undoubtedly great challenging among paddlers of world. Now unfortunately the world class Marshyangdi River got hydro electricity dam some of the most beautiful rapids are gone. Rafting on this river made easy road link of way to Manang and can be organize trip both from Kathmandu and Pokhara.
