    Nepal trekking services information is based on which style we operate the trips for trekkers. Here we provide information of trekking lodge, food provided by Himalayan Mentor, what you should drink and what you need to avoid during the trekking trail and of course about the trekking guide and porters (crews) for different group size.

    Lodge, Food & Drinks in Nepal trekking  

    Trekking in the common trails of Everest, Annapurna and Langtang have nice Teahouse Lodges facility available where trekkers have room (lodge), foods and drinks at the same place. Along the journey some remote places have basic and limited level of facility so trekkers are requested to compromise with sense of adventure. Hot Shower, Boiled Water, Beer, Cold Drinks, Mineral Water and other grocery items are also shopped at Teahouses. During the trek needs at least 2.5 to 3 liters water everyday trekkers may buy bottled mineral water, or boiled water treat with water purification pills or use portable water filter.

    Transportation for trek

    Himalayan Mentor will provide all the necessary transportation as per mentioned in trekking packages-flight to trailhead or land transportation by private charted vehicle or tourist bus or local bus/jeep where no more tourist bus available as arrangements are necessary.

    Personal Trekking Luggage (gear)

    Trekker’s main luggage will be carried by porter or yaks along the journey and it is requested (advisable ) to prepare your luggage as  lighter as possible about 10 to 12 kg in average. During the day walk you simply need to carry your personal day pack with walking stick, water bottle, sunglass, camera, sun-screen, spare jacket etc. Main luggage trekkers can get it at the teahouse lodge or campsite. Other unnecessary extra item or valuables can be stored at your hotel locker room.

    Nepal Trekking Crews (Guide and porters)

    Himalayan Mentor will provide well trained Trekking Guide holding government license and local porter to carry back pack with the aims to make the trek hassle free and enjoyable. Trekking guide speaks and understands reasonable amount of English language that is enough to explain trekkers about the places, local culture or communicate with members. The porter ratio will be one for two members to carry main luggage.

    Trekking Group Size

    Himalayan Mentor doesn’t require minimum and maximum size of group for any private treks. If trekkers like to travel independently or with friends, families, colleagues are welcome to choose any trekking packages at your convenient time frame. We will be happy to organize a small group like minded people to give them an unforgettable experience and opportunity to interact with each other in a fun-filled environment.
