Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal

Up on arrival at Kathmandu airport meet our tour official representative, complete the custom and immigration formalities and drive to hotel and after refreshment, our tour officer will describe you about the trip.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and fly to Pokhara

Full day guided Sightseeing to visit historical Kathmandu Durbar Square area, Pasupatinath Temple & Boudhanath Stupa which will take you to visit Nepal’s most popular attractions. After the sightseeing, drive to airport and fly to Pokhara, a fantastic natural place which is famous for sunrise view on Himalayas and beautiful Lakes. Evening drive to World Peace Pagoda to enjoy the beautiful view of Pokhara city, mountain and lakes.

Day 03: Pokhara sightseeing and back to Kathmandu

Early in the morning head to hill station called Sarangkot for sunrise view over the Himalayan Panorama, after sunrise view back to hotel for breakfast. Then drive to Davis fall, Gupteshwor cave and a boat trip to Phewa Lake for an hour. Afternoon drive to Pokhara airport to fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 04: Sightseeing around UNESCO sites in Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to Swayambhunath Stupa and continue visit to historical Durbar Square Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur city’s old place popular Nyatapola Pagoda, temples, unique peacock window and medieval town area makes everyone feel happy. From Bhaktapur you will taken to another amazing place, Patan Durbar Square, the famous monuments of around Patan are Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, Kumbheswor Temple, Patan museum etc.

Day 05: Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650m), Gonggar Airport

Up on arrival at Gonggar Airport meet our Tibet tour official representative, complete the custom and immigration formalities and drive to Lhasa city (3656m). It takes around 45 minutes to reach the main city center. Checking in your hotel, be refreshed, rest for acclimatization to get fit with Lhasa’s high altitude elevation.

Day 06: Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa

Early morning after breakfast brief on the day’s program by your guide and proceed tour to Norbulingka, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and the Barkhor Square. Drive to visit the Norbulingka palace which is summer retreat of the Dalai Lama. The palace building construction completed in 1956 and it is elaborately decorated with Tibetan wood carvings and paintings. The famous Sera Monastery allows you to get an insight into the important aspects of Tibetan Buddhism. It was created in 1419 and you can see the rose are planted everywhere in the monastery, the monastery also called “the court of wild rose”. You will observe famous debate session of the monks in Sera Monastery. Then head to Jokhang Temple and explore rich Tibetan cultural heritage of this site as well visit city center of Barkhor market and after visiting of the day back to hotel.

Day 07: Guided sightseeing tour in Lhasa

After breakfast meet your guide transfer to visit Potala Palace. This is the main attraction of Tibet forever and it is an impressive structure of Tibetan architecture. The Potala Palace has various types of Tibetan arts and crafts collection which are some many centuries of old. After visiting this outstanding Dalai Lama’s palace transfer to visit popular Drepung Monastery. Drepung Monastery, the ever largest monastery with more than 10 thousand monks, where you can observe nuns and monks are chanting and performing religious discourses together and back to hotel.

Day 08: Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Gonggar airport, fly to Kathmandu. Up on arrival meet Himalayan Mentor’s office representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free as it's good to have a relaxing time after get back from higher elevation. Evening farewell dinner will be offered by Himalayan Mentor in a Nepali restaurant.

Day 09: Final Departure
